Tackling TOPIK Writing: We're Building TOPIK Easy6!

Hey everyone!

We're a small, passionate two-person team excited to share what we've been working on. One of us is a long-term Korean learner (maintained TOPIK 6 for 8 years through self-study as an adult!) and the other is a native Korean speaker ensuring everything is spot-on linguistically.

If you're studying for the TOPIK II exam, you know the writing section can feel like a huge hurdle. This shows in the average scores: Reading and Listening around 53/100, with Writing only at 33/100 - a big 20-point gap.

That's why we decided to build TOPIK Easy6 – an AI-powered mobile app designed specifically to help you practice the TOPIK II writing questions (Q51, Q52, Q53, and Q54). Our aim is to provide instant feedback, error correction, and even estimated scores to help you practice effectively and confidently.

We're moving fast and aiming to launch an initial version (our MVP) in about two weeks. And the best part? We're launching it as a free app to get it into the hands of learners like you as quickly as possible. We want to help you write smarter and score higher.

We're excited (and a little nervous!) to be building this, and we want to share the journey with you. We'll be posting updates here on the blog – sharing milestones, maybe a sneak peek or two, and being open about the process as a small team tackling this challenge.
