TOPIK Easy6 Update: UI sneak peek & Building the core
Thanks for the interest and encouragement after our first post! It's really encouraging as we get into the thick of building TOPIK Easy6 🙏
This week, we've been working hard on the foundational structure and starting to shape the main user experience. We know from our own experience that TOPIK writing takes a lot of concentration, especially writing in Korean against the clock!
So, one of our first priorities is designing a clean, intuitive interface. The image alongside gives a very early glimpse of how we're thinking about the main writing screen.
We're aiming for minimal distractions, but still including tools that help you score higher. Notice the timer to keep you on track, and the character counter – specifically designed for the 원고지 (writing paper squares) format used in TOPIK, not just a simple character count. It's a small detail, but an important one for accurate practice!
Alongside building the interface, we're also hard at work developing relevant and realistic practice prompts for all the writing questions (Q51, Q52, Q53, and Q54).
Things are moving quickly as we push towards launching the initial version in just about 1.5 weeks! We're excited to get this into your hands. More sneak peeks and updates coming soon!
